Boskalis Beach Cleanup

Join the Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour 2025 and help create a cleaner sea! During this national initiative, the entire North Sea coastline will be cleaned — from Cadzand all the way to Schiermonnikoog.

On August 5, the Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour will arrive on Terschelling. During this special event, we’ll work together to clean the beach. Every year, large amounts of waste are collected at various points along the North Sea coast — including here on Terschelling. We need your help to make the beach clean and tidy again!

During this fun and active day, you'll walk approximately 6 kilometers along the coastline. Along the way, you'll collect litter and work side-by-side with other enthusiastic participants. It’s good for nature, good for your body, and a great opportunity to meet like-minded people who care about the environment.

Whether you're a local or just visiting for the day — everyone is welcome to join!

Program

• 09:30 AM: gather at beach pavilion West aan Zee (coffee and tea provided)

• 10:00 AM: start beach cleanup

• 01:00 PM: break and enjoy your own packed lunch on the beach

• 03:00 PM: return to starting point
