Wine doesn’t have to travel far to impress. For the Culinary Wadden Weeks, we serve a characterful local wine: Regent Barrique from Hof van Twente vineyard. This deep red wine, made from the Regent grape, matured for 24 months in oak barrels and offers spicy aromas of bay leaf, vanilla, mocha, and blackcurrant.
A wine with depth that pairs beautifully with the earthy tones of the beef, the velvety sweetness of the Madeira sauce, and the fresh touch of piccalilli. Local flavours in perfect harmony.
