
You will meet at the West aan Zee car park, near the lifeboat shed. With a small group, you will take a leisurely walk through the dune area. Here, you will look for the various bird species that live here. In spring, you have a chance of spotting species such as the bluethroat, nightingale, chiffchaff, linnet, reed warbler, wheatear, and marsh harrier. The walk also passes a nearby dune lake, where various species of waterfowl breed. The route is approximately 5 kilometers. Duration: 2.5 - 3 hours. Dogs are not allowed. Children aged 8 and up are welcome.

Dogs are not allowed. The route is approximately 5 kilometers and is not suitable for people with mobility issues. The walk is also not suitable for young children. Children aged 8 and up are welcome. The guide brings a telescope, but binoculars are recommended. You can also rent these at the Tourist Information Office. The excursion takes place in a small group of a maximum of 10 people. This ensures the experience remains personal and that the tranquility of the area is preserved, especially in the spring, when many animals need extra rest.
