North Sea excursion
Join the Wadden Association on an excursion to the North Sea beach! From the beach we work together with the entire group and pull a special fishing net through the shallow water. We use this to catch animals that live in shallow water. Hermit crabs, all kinds of fish, shrimps, jellyfish and crabs: it is always a surprise what is caught. The guide names all the animals and tells exciting facts about how they live. A fun and educational excursion for young and old.

Anyone who visits Terschelling visits the only natural world heritage site in the Netherlands. The Wadden Sea is recognized worldwide as a unique nature reserve, something to be proud of. And that is certainly the Wadden Association! What makes the area so unique is best experienced during an excursion with one of our guides. During the summer months, the Wadden Association, together with enthusiastic volunteers, organizes activities on the mudflats and beach of Terschelling almost every day. There are various excursions: North Sea excursion, mudflat excursion (also during the "Golden Hour" in the evening and the "Awakening Wadden Sea" in the early morning), and the children's beach day. also a special mudflat tasting. Be welcome and experience the Wadden Sea World Heritage in a completely new and special way.
