Experience the enchantment of the falling of evening during this walk along the beach and through the dunes near Oosterend. The Wadden Sea area is one of the last pristine places in the Netherlands where you can still enjoy absolute darkness, far away from artificial light sources. On clear nights, you can even behold the breathtaking Milky Way. The Boschplaat on Terschelling is even officially recognized as a Dark Sky Park. Enjoy the beautiful transition from twilight to starry splendor as you walk. Along the way, you can listen to true stories about the Living Dunes of Oosterend, told by Marloes Fopma of Eilandmeisje, who shares her love for Terschelling as a storyteller through her company. These stories provide a deeper context to the landscape, making the dunes more than just sand and marram grass! Let yourself be enchanted by this special experience full of island stories and make your walk rich in tales. Something happens to you in the darkness; become part of the story yourself and be moved.
