Strolling through the dunes with island stories and stargazing! Suitable for children aged 4 and up. Joon Twilight Walk children's version: (Re)discover Terschelling! Joon is Aasters – a Terschelling dialect – for evening. In the twilight, the phase between day and night that lies ahead, we walk into the evening, as it were. De Boschplaat is the first Dark Sky Park in the Netherlands, and Eilandmeisje is eager to show you the beauty of that darkness. The dunes of Oosterend harbor countless stories, and we will go stargazing! This walk is certainly also suitable for adults without children. The approach, experience, and storytelling style are the same as with the Joon Dark Sky twilight walk. Island Stories - Dark Sky - Beachcombing - Living Dunes This twilight walk is a shortened version of the regular Joon walk (which is suitable for ages 8 and up) and lasts approximately 1-1.5 hours. Distance: approximately 1.5 km through the dunes, unpaved. Please note: good physical fitness is required, as we walk up and down through the dunes. Terschelling's best-kept island experience.
