During this walk, Marloes Fopma, a storyteller from Terschelling, will take you along and tell you all about the birds, the polder landscape, Oosterend, traditions, and the mudflats. The birds we see vary each time, and naturally, more so in the spring than the rest of the year in the polder. If we see few birds, it's not a problem; there are plenty of island stories to explore. Marloes wrote the books "Birds of the Wadden Sea," "25 Stories & Wadden Sea ABC," which you can take home with you afterward. She designed them so that you read a story while learning a great deal about wadden birds and the Wadden Sea, with beautiful illustrations by Frans Schot.
