Ahoy, adventurers! Looking for a fun and educational activity for the (grand)children? Go on a pirate expedition through MIDSLAND NOORD! Starting with a treasure map and a well-stocked backpack full of clues, you will set out to find the hidden treasure. Along the way, you will brave pirate challenges, solve riddles, and discover more about the island. Every Island Girl or Island Boy receives an adventurous backpack full of surprises worth 25 euros: including a treasure map, a treasure hunter's guide, a good compass, various props, and a surprise at the end, made by the Jutfabriek. This way, you will experience a complete pirate adventure on Terschelling! ✔ Interactive scavenger hunt (approx. 2 km) full of challenges in Midsland Noord ✔ Along the way, you will discover all sorts of things about the island ✔ 1st backpack for 35 euros Child 2 or more: 30 euros per backpack Adults join for free. ✔ Backpack can be picked up at multiple locations: At the VVV in West, at Eilandmeisje in Oosterend, at the Jutfabriek in Lies, and at Gasterij De Drie Grapen in Midsland-Noord during opening hours. Pick-up is possible immediately after ordering. (Pick-up at Eilandmeisje outside opening hours is also possible; just send a message and it will be ready for you somewhere.) Good to know: - your child may keep the backpack and its contents after the walk - suitable from approx. 5 years old (younger? Then it is nice if an older child comes along) - dogs are allowed - you do the scavenger hunt on a day and time of your choice - the walk takes about 2 hours; you can also do it in two parts, e.g., up to the water pump. - tip: bring your own food & drink - being able to walk well is required to complete the tour With their own backpack, every child will fully experience the adventure — with their own treasure map, compass, and loot.
