Gull colony with guide on covered wagon
The Meeuwenkolonie tour goes through the nature reserve De Boschplaat towards the "Tweede Duintjes". Here is the gull colony, also the breeding area of Eider ducks and Spoonbills. The tour takes place during the breeding season from April 30 to July 31. Halfway through the tour there is a break and a campfire is lit and coffee or tea is offered. Excursion with the forester Upon arrival at the 'Tweede Duintjes', an excursion is made with the forest ranger of Staatsbosbeheer. During a short walk, the ranger will tell you everything about the colony and the nesting birds. Every Wednesday from 9.30 am to 3 pm, in the period from April 30 to July 31.
