What would Terschelling look like if we were completely self-sufficient in our food? And more importantly: what would we eat then – and what would it taste like? "Eating from Our Own Soil" is a project for and by Terschellingers, representing the first step towards a more self-sufficient food system on Terschelling. On January 24th, the results of a study will be presented during a special dining experience. A full evening program with dishes that demonstrate what the island could taste like if we ate more locally sourced food. An evening that will hopefully leave you wanting more! The price is €14.50 per person. You will receive a full evening meal including drinks. The evening lasts approximately 2.5 hours and starts at 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM. The location is still a surprise and will be announced a week beforehand on the website and in the Terschellinger. This evening is intended for residents of Terschelling. Not suitable for young children. Due to the experimental nature of the evening, we cannot accommodate dietary requirements. However, we will indicate which allergens are contained in the various dishes.
