Historical walk with guide Cor van der Pol. Cor tells the history and anecdotes along the historical points, such as; Het Wakend Oog, the Brandaris, the old cemetery, Commanders' houses, Westerkerk, Mennonite church (Vermaning). During the 2 km long walk you will get a wealth of information. Among other things, you will be told about the great fire in 1666, strandings, in particular the sinking of the West-Aleta (100 years ago), rescues and salvages, beachcombing and beachcombing, the sinking of the gold ship Lutine. The juicy and strong stories are also not lacking. There are two sitting sessions in the Reformed Church and the Mennonite Church. Duration of the excursion is 2 hours.
