Cor tells the history and anecdotes along the historical points, such as; The Waking Eye, the Brandaris, the old cemetery, Commanders' houses, Westerkerk, Mennonite church (Vermaning). During the 2 km walk you will get a wealth of information. Among other things, it tells about the great fire in 1666, strandings, in particular the sinking of the Western Aleta (100 years ago), rescues and salvages, beachcombing and beach finds, the sinking of the gold ship Lutine.
