Dark Sky Weekend experience: Vogelexcursie bij zonsopkomst
At the magical dawn, we cycle together to the east of the island. We park our bikes near the Wierschuur. Birdwatcher Arie Ouwerkerk takes you on a beautiful walk across the Boschplaat, a true bird paradise. He tells you everything about the flying friends to be admired here. Don't forget your binoculars. Good, waterproof walking shoes are recommended, as well as weatherproof clothing. This adventurous morning is part of the Dark Sky Weekend De Folks in collaboration with De Waddenvereniging & Waddensky and is dedicated to the Night of the Night.

You will gather with the group of participants from the Dark Sky Weekend in front of the reception at De Folks - Badweg Hoorn 11. The excursion departs at 06:45. You may also join at 07:00 at the parking lot at the Wierschuur.
Important to know
Don't forget the binoculars. Bring your own (rental) bike. Remember to bring weatherproof clothing and sturdy (waterproof) walking shoes. And optionally a bottle of water and a light snack or breakfast.
