The evening begins cozily inside the Folks' living room. Koen from Waddensky will tell you all the ins and outs of the universe and our solar system. Take a three-dimensional journey through the solar system, get to know our sun, the planets, moons, and other mysterious celestial bodies while flying around them in a virtual spaceship and even landing on them! After the lecture, you will take a short walk in the dark (+-15 min) to a spot in the dunes with a good view of the starry sky. Quite an experience if you are used to a life full of light! Because your visual senses are less stimulated than during the day, you will notice that your other senses become much sharper. Koen is bringing his telescope along too! Who knows, you might even see the Northern Lights, just like last year. Is it cloudy after all? Don't worry! Then Koen will virtually show you the 'live' starry sky of that moment, followed by a slightly more extensive walk in the dark.
