Change washed up plastic into new products together with the De Jut Fabriek Terschelling Foundation. Roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of plastic waste that has been combed from our Terschellinger beach. Correction, dive into the world of our raw material: washed up plastic waste. During this workshop you will join us in the workshop to make a new product from juiced plastic. You will sort, wash, grind and melt the plastic into your own, homemade and unique product. In this way we keep the beach clean together and we prove that beautiful products can also be made from recycled material. Duration workshop: 2 hours Suitable for : 10+ years

Important to know
Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Operating our machines is from 13 years old and always under supervision. The workshop is on the 1st floor and not wheelchair friendly.

De Jut Fabriek
Together with the Milieujutter Terschelling, we ensure that beach waste is given a new lease of life. We receive the washed up plastic from the Milieujutter in our workshop. The beach waste is cleaned, sorted and melted. The waste is then ground into minute pieces with a special shredder. New products are made from this granulate. The products are then sold in various shops on Terschelling.
