Bunkers on Terschelling, the Tigerstelling with guide
Discover the history of the bunkers. The bunkers of the Tigerstellung played an important role in the air war over the Wadden Islands and North Sea during the Second World War. During the tour you will visit a number of historically furnished bunkers and the guide will tell you in detail about the bunker complex and Terschelling during WWII. The excursion ends at the visitor center. There, photos, texts and film complement the guide's story. The duration of the excursion is 2 hours. The excursion is in Dutch. A German-speaking excursion and groups are available on request. The Bunker Museum has parking for a limited number of cars.

For decades, the 'Tiger Position' from the Second World War with its hidden stories has remained virtually invisible. The former canteen building has been transformed into a fascinating exhibition and reception space. There is a lot to do in the museum. For example, there is a treasure hunt for the children and you can book an excursion with a guide on our website, who will lead you on a journey of discovery through various impressive buildings.
