De Boschplaat is the first Dark Sky Park in the Netherlands. The entrepreneurs of Oosterend are happy to let you experience the beauty of the darkness. Oosterend itself is largely shrouded in darkness this evening, lanterns are out and residents are asked to turn off the outside lighting. The Night of the Night is a national initiative to draw attention to darkness and light nuisance.
