HT Rowing Race

The Harlingen-Terschelling rowing race is held the day after Ascension Day. The spectacular HT rowing race is one of the toughest rowing competitions in the country.

The 51th edition will start on Friday May 15, 2026 with approximately 140 sloops.
The first sloops start from Harlingen at 11:00h and the last starts around 12:05h.
The first sloops are expected in the port of Terschelling around 14:45h.

This very tough race has a length of approximately 33 kilometers.
