Originally named Amsterdam’s Koffijhuys and then Hotel Swart, the hotel took its current name in 1905. Hotel NAP at the foot of the Brandaris lighthouse is one of the oldest hotels in Terschelling. The operators of hotel NAP (Amsterdams Koffijhuys until 1880, then hotel Swart and from 1905 hotel NAP) have been offering visitors to Terschelling accommodation and hospitality for more than a century and a half. Formerly in a coach house with a common room, stables and a few rooms, nowadays with a little more comfort. Hotel NAP is located on the square around the lighthouse Brandaris in the heart of the village of West Terschelling, 3 minutes walking from the arrival ferry.
