Once a residential house was located in the Koegelwieck building on the Dorpsstraat. Now you can enjoy a delicious (Irish) meal in one of the smallest restaurants on the island and you can stay in one of the hotel rooms. The hotel part consists of two suites, namely the spacious, comfortable Ireland Suite and Suite 34. In addition, there is also one very cozy standard room for 1 person on the first floor with its own shower and toilet. And behind the hotel is the romantic garden shed. With spacious walk-in shower! So a total of 7 people can offer an overnight stay. The love for Ireland is clearly "tangible" in both the cozy restaurant and the hotel area. This is reflected in the comfortably furnished Ireland Suite, the Irish dishes, Irish music, Irish beers (including Murphy's Irish Red and Guinness) and a modest selection of Whiskeys. The property is quietly located in the village of Hoorn. The Hoornse forest and nature reserve "De Koegelwieck" is a 2-minute walk away: a great start for a walk or a bike ride through a varied landscape. De Boschplaat Nature Reserve is also well worth a visit: this beautiful area can be explored on foot, by bike or in a covered wagon. Within a few minutes walking distance, Hessel sings almost every evening in his café "de Groene Weide".
