The Hoeve is centrally located on the island, in the village of Kaard, so all amenities are close by, yet there's no disruption during peak periods. All four apartments offer the same amenities, including HD TV, free Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and underfloor heating. Mosquito screens are fitted to all windows. There's a covered bicycle shed where you can charge electric bikes. There's also a laundry room where you can wash and dry your clothes for a small fee. You can also dry your laundry on one of the lines. Hoeve Stortum is ideal for families with children, as it features a large playground on the south side with a trampoline, sandbox, and soccer field. New certified playground equipment was installed in 2016. There's also a variety of outdoor toys for all ages. The playground is ideally situated so that it doesn't disturb the south-facing terraces, while still allowing parents to keep an eye on their children. Hoeve Stortum is suitable for people with disabilities, as everything is on one level. However, Hoeve Stortum is not suitable for people with disabilities.
