Hoeve Stortum was originally a horse farm and dates back to 1890. In the 1970s, Hoeve Stortum was converted into an apartment farm. The farm is centrally located on the island, in the village of Kaard. All facilities are close by, but do not cause any disturbance during busy periods. Hoeve Stortum houses 4 apartments. All 4 apartments share the same amenities, such as TV, free Wi-Fi, and a dishwasher, and the bathrooms feature underfloor heating. There is a covered bicycle storage area where it is possible to charge an electric bicycle. There is also a laundromat available where you can wash and dry for a fee. There are also plenty of clotheslines. Hoeve Stortum is very suitable for families with children; there is a large play area on the south side with a trampoline and playground equipment. Outdoor toys are also available for both young and old. The playing field is so ideally situated that the south-facing terraces are not disturbed by it, but parents can still keep an eye on the children. Hoeve Stortum is suitable for people with reduced mobility because everything is on one level. Hoeve Stortum is not suitable for disabled people.
