Camping de Kooi
Camping de Kooi is beautifully situated at the foot of the Arjensduin and borders the natural monument De Kooibosjes. The camping site is quiet and spacious, in the middle of forest and dunes, near a dune lake with swimming facilities. There is shelter from trees and woodbreaks. Good sanitary facilities. Baby bathroom. Attractive café/restaurant in a former farm, open from the beginning of Oerol (June) to mid-September. Laundry service. Electricity points up to 10 amps. Free wireless internet. Child-friendly playground. Library. Rental of cooling elements. Camp shop at 200m. Bicycle rental in high season. There is plenty of room for sports and games. During the high season, activities are organized for children, such as water games, building huts, volleyball, and kids survival. De Kooi is a family campsite where quiet adults are also welcome. The camping site is open from mid-April to mid-September. Camping de Kooi is a 3.5 star ANWB Charme campsite.

Location
The campsite is located at the foot of the twenty-metre high Arjensduin from which you have a beautiful view of the surroundings. Both the North Sea and the Wadden Sea World Heritage can be seen. The campsite borders the natural monument 'De Kooibosjes' and the Hee dune lake where you can swim. There is also a shallow side here demarcated with a ball line where the small children can play. The distance from the campsite to West Terschelling is 4.5 km and to the village of Midsland two km. The beach and the mudflats are only a ten-minute bike ride away.
