From a distance, the height of the Kaapsduin, the lookout point of Oosterend, seems not too bad. Once you've conquered the steep stairs, the dune is just a bit higher than you expected. From the top of the Kaapsduin you have a 360 degree view over Oosterend. From the dunes and the sea in the distance to the dike and associated Wadden Sea. Climb the steps and enjoy the view.
