Restaurant Roots on Terschelling is all about slowing down and enjoying. Yvon and Ewald warmly welcome you to their atmospheric hotel-restaurant, where hospitality and tasty dishes are central. With a passion for cooking, chef Ewald surprises you with special fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, perfect to share with a delicious glass of wine or specialty beer. What once started with Pickwicks has now grown into a place where peace, taste and coziness come together. Whether you are sitting inside or on the terrace, at Roots it feels like coming home.
The restaurant has 9 tables for a maximum of 35 people. At the front is a terrace with 7 tables, maximum 14 people. The tables are spacious, so that there is sufficient privacy. And so you can relax together and enjoy the food and drinks. The dishes are Mediterranean in taste. In addition, you can choose from various white and red wines or various (special) beers.
