A Tide Indicator has been realized at the Terschelling marina, so that visitors can 'experience' the tide. This Tide Indicator indicates, among other things, which rifts and gullies are accessible at which water levels and conditions. It consists of two parts connected by masts, one of which is on land and the other in the water. The tidal history of Terschelling is depicted on this mast. Marc van Vliet, known for the 'Streken' project, among other things, is the designer of De Wijzer.
