In the middle of the forest, on the Badweg in the direction of West aan Zee, is the Bessenschuur. This barn owes its name to the fact that many years ago the cranberries were collected and sorted here after the harvest. This barn, which was built more than 85 years ago, according to the original American model, is the only original Bessenschuur in Europe. Nowadays it is a coffee and tea house and you can admire a bird exhibition.
