Wadhalla is your starting point. You determine your finish yourself. Bring your gear or rent it on the island. Culinary on Terschelling Foodies really get their money's worth in Wadhalla. With the Ottolenghi Simple and Flavor cookbooks in hand, you can indulge yourself completely on the 6-burner gas stove. Midsland also has the trendy www.puravidafoodbar.nl for delicious Chai Lattes and Poke Bowls. - The most beautiful views: www.walvisterschelling.nl in West is a super tent to combine with a long walk on Het Groene Strand. The sunsets there are legendary, but also at the other beach bars. Terschelling with kids Wadhalla has high chairs, a cot and a stair gate for a safe visit. There is much to do in the area for small children. The forest and beach may be good enough, but there is more. Our son Sil is now 18+, but he has been coming here all his life. Our favorites are: - Around the corner: 100m walk from Wadhalla you will find a large playground with coffee and cake www.zonneweeldets.nl, a little further in Hoorn the covered wagon tours of www.huifkarbedrijf-terpstra.nl start, from Wadhalla you can walk straight into the Hoorner Bos and the dunes. - Small piece of cycling: in the summer the Zelfpluktuingroenhof.nl is a great place to go, also for the homemade jams, a cup of tea and a tasty muffin. In Oosterend, the organic sheep farm www.dezeekraal.nl is a great place to visit. Sil also loved going to De Prairie to ride pony www.deprairie.wordpress.com.
