Apartment "De Eilander" is located on a side road on the south side of the Dorpsstraat in the middle of the village of Hoorn. Completely renovated with a cozy interior, this apartment is located in a monumental farm between the islands. "De Eilander" has a cozy living room. An open kitchen which is fully equipped and a spacious dining room with French doors facing west. There are two terraces, both on the east side for morning coffee and on the west side for the afternoon and evening sun. It is wonderful to stay here! The apartment is fully equipped, such as underfloor heating, TV with Netflix, good WIFI, two bedrooms and a good bathroom with a second toilet. The apartment is within cycling (10 minutes) and walking distance of the beach and mudflats. And just a minute's walk from the forest and dunes. There are two bedrooms on the top floor; A bedroom with 2 single beds (90x200) and a sink and the second bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200) and its own sink. Cot and high chair are available. There is a shelter for bicycles with its own charging point for electric bicycles and there is a shared parking space for the car.

Located in the rustic Hoorn on Terschelling you will find the completely renovated apartment "De Eilander". "De Eilander" is located in a monumental farm among the islanders and has a lovely garden. The beach and mudflats are just a 10-minute bike ride away. And the forest and dunes are just a 2-minute walk away. In Hoorn there are several good restaurants, a very nice playground for the little ones and a shop where you can get fresh rolls from the bakery. The entire island can easily be explored from Hoorn by bike, on foot or by car.

Welcome to the page of "De Eilander". We are Wietse and Maartje Mast and recently the proud owners of apartment "De Eilander". We recently completely renovated the apartment and we are very proud of the result. We are parents of 3 children and live next to "De Eilander".
Tips from the host
For an Irish evening, have a delicious dinner in restaurant De Koegelwieck, just a 1-minute walk from "De Eilander". If you come with children, a lunch or dinner at restaurant "Zonneweelde" is highly recommended, the children can play there. For an evening of tapas you are in the right place at "De Reis". Furthermore, Hoorn has a super handy store, the "Ben van Alles", here, as the name suggests, you can get everything, including bread and pastries. Further on in Hoorn there is also the bread shop "De Boltjsekoer" for delicious delicacies and a sandwich on the go. Furthermore, the village has "Terpstra Covered Cart Company". Come join us "on a ride" as we say. A beautiful trip by covered wagon across our beautiful island. You can also go for a ride on riding horses or rent a walking pony.
