Kinnum
Kinnum is one of the oldest settlements on Terschelling. Currently Kinnum has about 40 inhabitants. The name of the village was already mentioned in a deed of the Frankish king 'charlemagne' in the year 922. Northwest of Kinnum lie the remains of the old settlement Stortum, which was lost in 1825 during a flood.
