For the ideal Oerol campsite, head to Camping Appelhof. The beach is nearby. On the campsite itself, there is a snack bar serving snacks, sandwiches, pizzas, soft drinks, and chilled beer. Naturally, there are good showers and toilets. There is also free luggage transport to and from the campsite. Opposite the campsite lies the Wreck Museum, where you can get a daily menu for a reasonable price in a unique interior. Music café De Vijfpoort is within walking distance, as are the Jumbo supermarket and De Rustende Jager. Camping Appelhof is a household name among true Oerol enthusiasts; the campsite's location is very central to the shows and performances taking place all over the island.
