Holiday home Gele Lis is located in the expansive Oosterend on Terschelling, where the sky is vast and the Wadden Sea is always close by. After a walk along the beach, through the dunes, or across the mudflats, you return to a charming semi-detached holiday home with a sunny garden. Here, you experience the peace and space of the island, with modern comforts. In early 2026, the home was carefully renovated—from the bathroom, toilet, and kitchen to the floors and paintwork—while preserving the atmosphere of the Terschelling farmhouse: contemporary comfort in a warm, characterful setting. The bright living-dining room features underfloor heating and a cozy gas fireplace, a spacious seating area, a dining area for four, a Sonos speaker for your own music or podcasts, and a smart TV with Ziggo, including all ESPN channels, Ziggo Sport, and German and English channels; you can also watch all your favorite streaming services via your own accounts. The new kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking for the entire party is effortless. In Gele Lis, you will find two bedrooms, each with lovely box-spring beds. It is a great place for a couple looking for spacious living, but it also offers plenty of room for four adults or a family. Downstairs, you sleep next to the bathroom with a walk-in shower; the toilet is separate. A fixed staircase leads upstairs to the second bedroom and the mezzanine with extra storage space. If you are traveling with a baby or young children, Gele Lis is the logical choice of our two cottages: a cot, high chair, and baby bath are already set up. Outside, you can enjoy the sunny garden with two lounge sofas, a lounge chair, coffee table, and parasol, and you can enjoy a lovely meal outdoors at the picnic table while listening to the birds in the bushes. The garden is wonderfully sheltered; you truly have privacy there. The parking space for one car or bicycles is located just past the house on the left; from there, you walk along a paved path to the front door.
