Youth course: Beekeeping
During each school holiday we hold an introductory beekeeping course for the youth. It is surprising what children already know about insects. Curiosity about bee colonies is also increasing rapidly from the age of 9. That is why we have collected a number of lesson and practice books that benefit boys and girls both at home and during the course. During the holidays 3 Saturday mornings from 10:00 am "to bee lesson" in the Bijenpark and "to the beach in the afternoon?"
What we will do?
- Telling about the bee population, how they live and what they eat from.
- Swing honey and taste it.
- Make an insect hotel.
- Making seed bombs, from which flowers grow that provide a better habitat for butterflies and bees.
- For children

This cosy village, with its rich history, is a beautiful place to enjoy spending a several hours. Shops of all shapes and sizes nestle behind the facades of the many national listed buildings. There are too many to mention here, so we suggest you take your time for a nice look around. Alternatively, go dancing, relax on a terrace, or enjoy some good food, as there’s more than enough choice.
