Discover cyanotype – an enchanting, old photographic technique that uses sunlight to make blue-white prints. During this 2 to 2.5 hour workshop, you will make your own light-sensitive paper and make prints of natural finds such as leaves, flowers, seaweed or feathers. After practical instruction, there is plenty of room to experiment yourself. Be inspired by the wild garden of Atelier Kleurenzee and the nature of Terschelling – and take your own, self-made island prints home with you. The workshop takes place in the garden of Atelier Kleurenzee, in a small group of maximum 6 people. What can you expect? 🔹 Get to know the cyanotype technique 🔹 Make your own light-sensitive paper 🔹 Work with natural shapes from the environment 🔹 Rinse, dry and admire – take your own island prints home with you!

Atelier Kleurenzee is Kim Zuidema's workplace, where paint, canvas, paper and sunlight are used. Paintings, blueprints and illustrations are created here - free work and custom assignments - with the nature of Terschelling as a source of inspiration. In addition, workshops (including painting and blueprints) are given to children and adults in which participants are given the space to discover, create and enjoy the creative process.
