Hotel Dichtbijzee is a small 3 star hotel in Oosterend. The hotel is located against the dunes of Oosterend, 2 kilometers from the wide North Sea beach and 300 meters from Unesco World Heritage Wadden Sea. The nature reserve de Boschplaat and Dark Sky park de Boschplaat are also less than 2 kilometers away. The standard rooms are approximately 14m2 and have two single box spring beds that are placed against each other and connected with a back board. There is a bathroom in the room, a desk and a Nespresso. The standard rooms are located on the ground floor. Digital information is available in the rooms and of course there is also free Wi-Fi. The price includes breakfast. The hotel is located on the grounds of Residentie Close to the sea. Laundry facilities are available where you can use the washing machine and/or dryer. The Wadden Sea World Heritage Site is 150 meters from the hotel, where you can cycle along the Wadden Sea dike to West-Terschelling and enjoy the beautiful Wadden area with its birds, salt marsh area, polder and many different animals and plants. The extensive North Sea beach with the widest beach in the Netherlands is 2 km away. Walk endlessly on the beach and enjoy the sound of the sea and perhaps a seal will swim with you.
