Casa Juan Carlos is a 4 person holiday home located in the middle of the island of Terschelling in the picturesque village of Hoorn. Within walking distance of dunes, forest, beach, polder and dike. The apartment is decorated in Spanish atmospheres with a record player with Spanish LPs as a gadget.

The open kitchen consists of a 4-burner hob, extractor hood, combi-microwave oven, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and a Retro Bosch fridge with freezer. You can eat at the round dining table with 4 chairs from the cheerfully dotted crockery.
From the living room there are French doors that give access to the terrace and the enclosed garden on the south. The terrace has patio furniture and two sunbeds.
On the first floor are two bedrooms, each with 2 x single box-spring beds. The second bedroom has a cot and a sink as standard. A stair gate has been installed on the landing.
Just in front of the door is the bus stop and if you come with your own car, there is a parking space in front of the door. Your (electric) bicycle can be stored in the enclosed garden.
Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen are included in the rental price. This also applies to the final cleaning. The apartment must be left tidy. The apartment is suitable for 2 adults, 2 children and a child up to 2 years old, who still sleeps in a cot.
The apartment is non-smoking and pet-free.
You can indicate the use of a cot, playpen or high chair in the booking process. Children's bed linen is also supplied.

Hoorn is home to fascinating buildings and inhabitants. Next to 13th-century St John's Church, you see the 'Sjouw'. This ball was hoisted to indicate to farmworkers that is was time for lunch. These days, lunch or dinner can be enjoyed in one of the various catering establishments. One of Hoorn's prominent residents was Jean Dulieu. The writer and artist is the creator of Paulus de Boskabouter (Paulus the Forest Gnome). Nowadays a Kabouterpad (Gnome Trail) can be found on the woodland side. Hoorn is truly a place for both lovers of nature and tranquillity, and those seeking action and fun - with Hessel & Tess in concert for instance. A trip east worthwile.
